Plainly said, XPLORA 1 is a GPS-phone for children, designed as a smartwatch.
The vision behind XPLORA 1 is to provide your child with an easy-to-use, safe phone, without any unnecessary distractions.
Here's a quick overview over XPLORA's features:

- built-in GPS, uses additionally WiFi and mobile triangulation, so that it can calculate it's position even indoors
- Emergency-button: If pressed, the watch will send its current position and call the guardians, until one of the guardians answers
- Uses 3G-network, so it will work wherever there is sufficient 3G coverage in the EU.
Up to two guardians can administrate XPLORA-watch through the parental app and check the watch's position. You can add up to 12 contacts, as well as notifications and safe zones.
By default, only approved contacts can communicate with the watch, be it by texts or calls. XPLORA can make and receive calls and receive text messages.
The watch is CE-approved, which means it has been tested for battery safety, non-toxicity of the materials, radiation and so on.
