UNITED STATES: When you order an Xplora watch on our US website https://shop.myxplora.com/, you decide whether or not to include an Xplora Connect SIM-card.

If you choose a SIM-free watch, you will need to purchase a separate nano SIM-card from a provider of your choice before you start using the watch. We recommend T-Mobile or SpeedTalk Mobile for the smoothest setup and to enable all the features of your watch. The SIM-card should have around 150 MB of mobile data per month, besides voice minutes. Data volume usage can vary depending on the personal use of the watch. The watch can be connected to a WiFi network to lower the data usage.
Xplora watches are currently NOT compatible with Sprint, Verizon & US Cellular and other mobile operators using these networks.
CANADA: The X5 Play is SIM-free which means that you need to get a separate nano SIM-card before you start using the watch. We recommend Rogers Communications Canada and Bell SIM-cards for the best performance of your watch.
The SIM-card should have voice minutes and around 150 MB of mobile data per month. Data volume usage can vary depending on the personal use of the watch. The watch can be connected to a WiFi network to lower the data usage.
Other providers: The list of our compatible providers is being updated and our goal for the future is to make most of major providers compatible with our watches.
Other network providers may work if you update the watch with their APN setting. For more information about the APN settings, click here.
You will find the instructions on how to save the correct APN setting on the XGO2 watches in the video below.
